U.S. stock market opens, Dow rises 0.7%, Nasdaq rises 1%
According to Gate market data, U.S. stocks opened with the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 0.7%, the S&P 500 index up 0.89%, and the Nasdaq Composite index up 1%. Star tech stocks performed strongly, with Micron Technology up 5%, Intel up 4.7%, and Meta Platforms up 2.7%. The Nasdaq Golden Dragon China Index rose by 1%.
