U.S. stocks opened lower, with the Dow Jones down 0.55%, and precious metal stocks plummeting
According to Gate market data, U.S. stocks opened with the Dow Jones Industrial Average down 0.55%, the S&P 500 down 0.82%, and the Nasdaq Composite down 1.35%. Precious metal concept stocks fell sharply, with Coeur Mining down 8%, Newmont Mining down 9%, and Pan American Silver down 6%. The Nasdaq Golden Dragon China Index fell 1.9%.
