Eightco adds an investment of 40 million USD to OpenAI, bringing the total investment to 90 million USD

According to PR Newswire, Nasdaq-listed company Eightco Holdings announced an additional investment of $40 million in OpenAI, bringing its total investment to $90 million to date.

In addition to its shares in OpenAI, Eightco Holdings' assets also include 277,222,975 WLD, 11,068 ETH, and a total of $76 million in cash and stablecoins. ORBS holds nearly 10% of the circulating supply of WLD, making it the largest public market participant in the Worldcoin ecosystem.

The company recently announced a commitment to raise $125 million in investments, with Bitmine, an Ethereum treasury company, leading with a $75 million investment, and ARK Invest committing to invest at least $25 million. It has also appointed Bitmine Chairman Tom Lee to its board of directors.
