According to a report by the Korea Economic Daily, SK Hynix plans to issue new shares and list ADRs (American Depositary Receipts) in the United States, with an issuance scale of approximately 2.4% of the total share capital.

The funds raised will mainly be used to expand high bandwidth memory (HBM) production capacity and promote the construction of a semiconductor cluster in Yongin, in order to consolidate its leading position in the global AI semiconductor market. SK Group Chairman Choi Tae-won had previously publicly stated at NVIDIA's GTC 2026 Developer Conference that they are advancing the ADR listing plan.
