According to CoinDesk, Paul Atkins, the chairman of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), announced the termination of "enforcement-style regulation" and stated that the seven cases related to cryptocurrency registration initiated by the previous administration were a "misallocation of resources" that did not provide direct benefits to investors.
