U.S. stocks closed, with the S&P 500 and Nasdaq achieving a 7-day winning streak
According to Gate market data, U.S. stocks closed higher on Thursday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average initially rising 0.58%, the S&P 500 index up 0.6%, and the Nasdaq Composite index up 0.8%, marking the latter two achieving a consecutive 7 trading days of gains. Amazon rose over 5%, SanDisk rose 9%, and Nvidia rose 1%. The Nasdaq Golden Dragon China Index closed down 1.3%, with NIO and Baidu both falling over 4.5%, while Alibaba rose nearly 2%.
