X launches the "Custom Timelines" feature for custom timelines

X product head and Solana advisor Nikita Bier announced that X has launched the "Custom Timelines" feature, allowing users to pin specific topics to their homepage tab and supporting over 75 interest topics, helping users delve deeper into niche content areas.

This feature is supported by content understanding from Grok and combines the platform's algorithmic personalization recommendations, dynamically generating each timeline based on user interests, particularly effective on topics where users already have interaction preferences. Currently, this feature has been made available for early access to Premium subscribers on the iOS platform, with the Android version expected to be launched soon.
