The U.S. dollar's share in global trade has reached a record high of 51.1%
According to Jinshi reports, based on the latest data from the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT), as conflicts continue in the Middle East, the share of the US dollar in international transactions rose to a record 51.1% in March, up from 49.2% the previous month, marking the highest share since 2023. The trading share of the euro is about 21%, followed by the British pound and the Japanese yen.
