The three major U.S. stock indexes closed mixed, with Intel rising over 23%

According to Gate market data, U.S. stocks closed on Friday with the Dow initially down 0.16%, the S&P 500 index up 0.8%, and the Nasdaq Composite index up 1.63%. Intel (INTC.O) rose 23.6%, leading the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index components, Arm (ARM.O) rose 14.76%, and AMD (AMD.O) rose 13.91%. The new stock X-Energy (XE.O) closed up 26.96% on its first day of trading. The Nasdaq China Golden Dragon Index rose 1.59%.
