The three major U.S. stock indices closed slightly higher, with large chip stocks hitting new highs

According to Gate market data, U.S. stocks closed higher on Monday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 0.19%, the S&P 500 index up 0.19%, and the Nasdaq up 0.1%. Nvidia (NVDA.O), Qualcomm (QCOM.O), Intel (INTC.O), Micron Technology (MU.O), and Western Digital (WDC.O) all set new historical closing highs. The Nasdaq Golden Dragon China Index rose by 1%, and Baidu (BIDU.O) increased by 3%.
