Microsoft once planned to gain a return of $92 billion from its early investment in OpenAI
According to Bloomberg, Microsoft set a goal in early 2023 planning documents to achieve a return of $92 billion from its early large investment in OpenAI.
This information was disclosed during a court hearing on May 11 local time in the federal court in Oakland, California, related to the lawsuit filed by Elon Musk against OpenAI and Microsoft. Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella stated in court that this investment "worked well because we took risks."
