According to on-chain analyst PeckShield (@PeckShieldAlert), the attacker of the VerusCoin cross-chain bridge has returned 4,052.4 ETH (approximately $8.5 million) to the project team's address (0xF9AB…C1A74), which accounts for 75% of the total stolen amount. The remaining 25% (1,350 ETH, approximately $2.8 million) is retained in the attacker's wallet as a white hat bounty.
