The US SEC delays the release of the exemption plan for trading tokenized assets in US stocks
According to Bloomberg, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has delayed a broad exemption plan for U.S. cryptocurrency companies to trade tokenized assets. Sources say that SEC staff originally planned to release the so-called "innovation exemption" as early as this week, allowing relevant institutions to advance trading of tokenized assets linked to U.S. stocks under certain conditions. The report states that the draft plan has been drafted and reviewed by SEC staff.
