MoonPay launches ChatGPT application, supporting direct purchases of cryptocurrencies like BTC and XRP

Cryptocurrency payment company MoonPay has announced the launch of a ChatGPT-exclusive application, allowing users to directly purchase cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin, XRP, Solana, and USD Coin within OpenAI's ChatGPT. MoonPay stated that users only need to inquire about the relevant cryptocurrency in ChatGPT and express their purchase needs, and the system will automatically generate a MoonPay checkout link. Users can then navigate to the MoonPay page to complete the KYC verification and wallet binding process. Users who have completed KYC can directly use their existing accounts and payment methods to make purchases.

Currently, MoonPay has joined several cryptocurrency-related services in the ChatGPT application ecosystem, including Kraken and OKX. Unlike other major applications that primarily provide on-chain data queries, MoonPay focuses more on cryptocurrency purchases and user education. In addition, MoonPay recently acquired the AI trading startup Dawn Labs, launched the Dawn CLI, which executes predictive market strategies through natural language, and introduced the MoonAgents Card, which supports AI Agents using stablecoins for consumption, continuing to enhance the integration of AI and cryptocurrency payments.
