Publicly listed companies globally hold approximately 1.242 million BTC, an increase of 67% compared to a year ago

According to a report by South Korea's News1, as of May 19, publicly listed companies globally hold approximately 1.242 million BTC, worth about $9.56 billion at current prices, an increase of 67% from 742,900 a year ago, with the number of listed companies holding BTC rising to 196.

The report states that the ETH held by listed companies is approximately 6.03 million, with BitMine holding about 4.32 million ETH. In contrast, the cryptocurrency investment market for Korean corporations has not yet fully opened, and related pilot measures are progressing slowly.
