Gray intends to introduce $115 million in HYPE token seed funding for the Hyperliquid Staking ETF

According to FinanceFeeds, Grayscale is in talks with Hyper Holdings Global LP to sell its proposed Hyperliquid ETF shares in exchange for approximately 2 million HYPE tokens, valued at about $115 million at current prices, to serve as seed capital before the fund's listing.

Meanwhile, Grayscale has renamed the product to "Grayscale Hyperliquid Staking ETF," intending to list it on NASDAQ under the ticker HYPG, with the added staking feature distinguishing it from a spot ETF that simply tracks token prices.
