JPMorgan CEO criticizes Coinbase again, warns that stablecoin regulatory legislation may fail
According to Coindesk, JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon has once again harshly criticized Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong and warned that if lawmakers do not address traditional banks' concerns about stablecoin regulation, the latest version of the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act may ultimately fail. Dimon believes that the bill would allow stablecoin issuers to effectively pay interest on deposits without bank-like protections and predicts that if adopted as is, the bill "will ultimately fail."
