According to Beijing Business Today, the Monetary Authority of Macao announced that Macao has completed the system integration with the multilateral central bank digital currency bridge mBridge project, and officially launched local bank "on-bridge" transactions on June 2, to establish an efficient, secure, and low-cost cross-border payment settlement channel.
