According to Gate market data, at the opening of the US stock market, the Dow Jones rose by 1%, the S&P 500 index fell by 0.4%, and the Nasdaq fell by 1%. Broadcom (AVGO.O) plummeted by 14% after the earnings report was released, with a total market value dropping below $2 trillion, and the AI chip revenue guidance was below market expectations. Chip stocks were under pressure, with Micron Technology (MU.O) down 6.7%, Arm (ARM.O) down 7.3%, AMD (AMD.O) down 5.3%, Intel (INTC.O) down 3.4%, and Nvidia (NVDA.O) down 0.5%.
