Circle plans to release the Arc Privacy confidential smart contract engine, aimed at addressing the barriers to institutional adoption caused by the current blockchain's default complete transparency through "Opt-in Privacy." Arc Privacy will allow users and developers to selectively mask sensitive information in transactions and smart contracts based on actual needs, rather than forcing all data to be public.
