A 19-year-old youth in Canada pleads guilty in a cryptocurrency fraud case, involving money laundering amounting to 13 million dollars

According to the New York Times, 19-year-old Canadian Trenton Johnston pleaded guilty to a conspiracy to commit money laundering in a U.S. federal court. Court documents show that he stole approximately $13 million through cryptocurrency scams over a period of about two years, using the funds for expenses such as nightclub spending, jewelry, luxury cars, and private jet travel.
