Crypto journalist Eleanor Terrett posted on the X platform that if the United States wants to complete the legislative process for the CLARITY Act before July 4, it needs to complete all the following steps within two weeks: find a conflict of interest resolution acceptable to both parties, address issues in the Agriculture Committee text, merge the versions from both the House and Senate, secure 60 votes of support, and complete voting in both chambers.

She believes that the above timeline is logically impossible to achieve.
