The U.S. CFTC has appointed Donald Battle as Chief Data Innovation Officer, who previously worked in the U.S. SEC's cryptocurrency working group

According to official news, Michael S. Selig, Chairman of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), announced two senior personnel appointments: Donald Battle as Chief Data Innovation Officer, serving in the data department and joining the innovation working group; J Matthew Haws as Senior Advisor to the Chairman's Office and Head of the Chicago Region.

Among them, Battle previously served in the cryptocurrency working group and the data science group of the enforcement division at the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), possessing experience in blockchain forensics, data science, and anti-money laundering; Haws has over 13 years of legal and compliance experience in the derivatives market.
