Coinbase will launch the first batch of tokenized stocks with real 1:1 support

Coinbase posted on the X platform stating that the first batch of real, 1:1 backed tokenized stocks is about to launch, allowing users to hold actual tokenized stocks of U.S. companies and trade, hold, and redeem them on-chain, while automatically receiving dividends.

Coinbase emphasized that this product is not a derivative or an IOU, but a real asset mapping that is 1:1 anchored to the underlying stocks, aimed at providing users with a more transparent and verifiable on-chain stock market experience.
