According to The Block, the High Court of Australia unanimously ruled that the fixed income digital asset product Earner launched by Block Earner is classified as a regulated financial product, and providing this product requires holding an Australian financial services license. The court supported the appeal of the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) and overturned the previous ruling by the lower court that was more favorable to Block Earner.
