Bitmine increased its holdings by 52,203 ETH last week, raising its total holdings to 5.67 million
According to PR Newswire, Bitmine Immersion Technologies (NYSE: BMNR) announced its latest asset situation. As of June 21, the company holds 5,672,956 ETH, 205 BTC, and approximately $601 million in cash and securities, with total assets amounting to about $10.7 billion.
The company's chairman, Tom Lee, stated that Bitmine increased its holdings by 52,203 ETH in the past week and will continue to maintain a steady accumulation pace through 2026. Currently, the ETH held by Bitmine accounts for about 4.7% of the total supply of Ethereum, firmly establishing it as the largest Ethereum reserve institution in the world. Additionally, Bitmine has staked 4.719 million ETH, which is over 83% of its ETH holdings, and based on the current yield, the expected annual staking income is approximately $223 million.
Tom Lee mentioned that the company believes the crypto market is still in the early stages of a "crypto spring," and the development of tokenization and artificial intelligence will drive continued growth in blockchain demand.
