According to Bloomberg, a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) supported by Cantor Fitzgerald and Adam Back's Bitcoin reserve company BSTR announced that they have abandoned the original terms of the proposed merger and will renegotiate a revised agreement.

In the context of a tightening cryptocurrency market and challenges faced by Bitcoin reserve companies, both parties decided to adjust the transaction arrangements. Cantor Equity Partners I Inc. and BSTR Holdings stated that they will no longer proceed with the transaction under the merger agreement signed last year, but will seek to establish revised transaction terms that better reflect the current market conditions. However, the two companies did not disclose the specific financial terms of the new transaction, nor did they indicate when a new agreement could be reached.
