Cross-border payment infrastructure company Nium acquires cryptocurrency wallet company Cypher

According to official news, global cross-border payment infrastructure company Nium announced the acquisition of the crypto-native non-custodial wallet and card issuer Cypher. The two parties will combine digital asset and global payment network capabilities to advance the development of fiat-to-chain payment services.

At the same time, Cypher's existing platform will gradually shut down, covering consumer applications, corporate card platforms, and the CYPR ecosystem, and will officially cease operations on September 6, 2026.
