The SEC has approved BlackRock's Bitcoin spot ETF options positions and exercise limits to be significantly raised to 1 million contracts

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission announced that the rule change submitted by the New York Stock Exchange on July 6 is effective immediately, significantly raising the position limit and exercise limit for BlackRock's Bitcoin Spot ETF IBIT options from 250,000 contracts to 1,000,000 contracts, in order to meet the rapidly growing demand for IBIT options trading and enhance market liquidity and market maker capacity.
