Michael Saylor posted against BIP 110, stating that forcing changes to Bitcoin rules is a nationalist act
Founder of Strategy, Michael Saylor, tweeted that attempting to modify Bitcoin rules simply because one does not agree with how others use Bitcoin is a nationalist impulse, which is contrary to the freedom, property rights, free market, and Austrian economics spirit upheld by the Bitcoin community.
He bluntly stated that BIP 110 essentially enforces "monetary purity" through statutory means, which does not align with the core principle of Bitcoin's decentralization.
