This launch marks the official integration of TON into the major liquidity and application ecosystems in the cryptocurrency field.

The Open Network (TON) ecosystem's leading automated market maker (AMM) protocol STON.fi today announced the official launch of cross-chain swaps functionality within its application. Users can now directly transfer stablecoins between TON, TRON, Ethereum, Base, BNB Chain, Polygon, Avalanche, Arbitrum, and Robinhood Chain through a unified self-custodial interface.

This launch marks TON's official integration into the major liquidity and application ecosystems in the crypto space. Users can freely manage funds in the stablecoin market, TON native assets, DeFi protocols, and Telegram native applications without relying on centralized exchanges (CEX), cross-chain bridges, or wrapped assets.

Stablecoins have become one of the most important segments of the crypto market, with a total market capitalization exceeding $300 billion, among which TRON and Ethereum are the two core stablecoin networks. Through the cross-chain swaps functionality, STON.fi achieves bidirectional connectivity between TON and mainstream stablecoin ecosystems: TON users can access liquidity support across the network, while TRON and EVM ecosystem users can enter TON native assets, wallets, DeFi protocols, and Telegram application ecosystems through a more direct path—requiring only one self-custodial operation without the need to manage cross-chain bridges, wrapped assets, routing decisions, or bear settlement uncertainties.

The execution layer Omniston, independently developed by STON.fi, is responsible for coordinating the complete exchange process between the source chain and the target chain. It is not just a routing or liquidity aggregation system but is also dedicated to ensuring that cross-chain stablecoin circulation is predictable from pricing to settlement.

"What people are thinking about is 'what do they want to do,' rather than 'on which chain,'" said STON.fi Dev CEO Slavik Baranov. "Our goal is to make cross-ecosystem transfers as simple as single-chain exchanges. Omniston handles the underlying complexity, allowing users to focus solely on the results without worrying about the infrastructure."

For users, the core advantages lie in speed and certainty. The vast majority of exchanges can be completed within 15 to 40 seconds, avoiding the long waits commonly associated with traditional cross-chain transactions. Once the exchange is confirmed, Omniston connects the order with independent liquidity providers (called Resolvers), who provide assets on the target chain. Transactions are executed through associated hashed timelock contracts (HTLCs)—a smart contract escrow mechanism that uses the same cryptographic conditions on both chains to ensure that the exchange either completes simultaneously on both ends or does not execute at all. Users can clearly see the expected assets and quantities before confirmation; if the exchange cannot be completed, funds will be automatically returned, avoiding issues such as asset stalling, partial execution, or unclear status.

With the official activation of cross-chain swaps functionality, STON.fi is transitioning from a single-chain DeFi protocol to a product form centered around user intent. As stablecoin liquidity, consumer-grade applications, and the DeFi market spread across multiple chains, users urgently need a more convenient way to transfer value without giving up self-custody or managing underlying infrastructure. For TON and the broader crypto market, this launch builds a more practical access layer between mainstream liquidity networks, application ecosystems, and the overall on-chain economy.

About STON.fi

STON.fi is a cross-chain decentralized application (DApp) that supports token exchanges between TON, TRON, and mainstream EVM-compatible blockchains. As one of the leading AMM protocols native to The Open Network (TON) and one of the most widely used DeFi applications, STON.fi helps users achieve asset exchanges, access DeFi opportunities, and facilitate cross-chain value transfers through a simple cross-chain experience. Its cross-chain capabilities are powered by the execution layer Omniston, which aims to ensure a reliable and predictable exchange experience across multiple networks. STON.fi is backed by top institutions such as CoinFund, Delphi Ventures, The Open Platform, Karatage, and TON Ventures, and is committed to building a comprehensive on-chain economic infrastructure that connects users, liquidity, and applications.
