The Winklevoss brothers donated $10.018 million in Bitcoin to Trump's super PAC "MAGA."

According to a report by CryptoSlate, documents from the Federal Election Commission show that the Winklevoss brothers donated approximately $10.018 million in Bitcoin to the Trump-affiliated super PAC "MAGA Inc." on June 19.

This donation occurred 23 days after the CFTC announced its application to join Gemini in seeking an exemption from certain terms of the 2025 judgment. The documents indicate that the committee sold the donated Bitcoin through Gemini. The CFTC previously stated that under current enforcement standards, complaints against Gemini would not be filed and mentioned that Gemini itself is also a victim of fraud and changes in federal digital asset policy. Both parties applied to the court to lift the permanent injunction, but the $5 million fine already paid by Gemini will not be refunded.
