Data: A giant whale that had been dormant for two years wakes up to build a position in ETH, nearly breaking even after a floating loss of 1.8 million dollars

According to on-chain analyst Ai Yi (@ai_9684xtpa), address 0x9BF…4564a withdrew 4,819 ETH (approximately 9.35 million USD) from the exchange on February 8 at an average price of 1,941.25 USD, marking its first operation after being dormant for two years since March 2024.

During the holding period, the account's unrealized loss once reached as high as 1.8 million USD. Half an hour ago, the address deposited 1,200 ETH to Gate exchange, and if sold at the current price, it would only incur a loss of about 20,000 USD, essentially close to breaking even.
