The cryptocurrency asset data platform operated by TokenPost, "Token Watch," has launched a new feature called "Interactive Relationship Map," which allows users to clearly view the connection structure between projects, investors, and key figures.

The newly added relationship map focuses on cryptocurrency asset projects listed in the South Korean won market and visually displays how investors and key figures are connected. Users can not only view the investment background of a single project but also explore other projects involving the same investor and the past and present affiliations of individuals on the same screen.

Currently, the relationship map shows the top 30 investors ranked by their investment portfolios and the key figures confirmed across multiple projects. Users can directly search for projects, investors, or individuals, and can also filter by type to extract only the desired relationships.

The relationship lines are categorized into ▲ General Investment ▲ Lead Investment ▲ Current Affiliation ▲ Previous Affiliation. This classification allows users to identify which investors are involved in specific projects, understand who is leading the investment rounds, and see which organizations key figures are currently or previously associated with.

For example, after selecting a specific project, the investors and associated individuals for that project will be displayed. Conversely, by focusing on an investor, users can view that investor's portfolio of won-listed projects and their co-investment relationships with other investors.

By clicking on a node and using the "View from this Node" feature, users can retain only the connections within two degrees centered around the selected object. Even when the overall network appears complex, users can quickly focus on specific projects or investors and narrow down the core relationship scope. The feature also supports node dragging and screen zooming.

Through this relationship map, Token Watch goes beyond a simple list of investors, allowing users to explore the financial and human networks of the cryptocurrency asset market in a three-dimensional manner.

This feature can be used to grasp information that was previously difficult to confirm relying solely on project-disclosed investor logos, such as:

  • Co-investors

  • Frequently co-investing VC groups

  • Investor overlaps between competing projects

  • Key figures appearing repeatedly across multiple projects

Especially for investors, it serves as a reference for confirming the background of projects of interest; for journalists and researchers, it acts as an interview and analysis tool for uncovering hidden commonalities between projects; for industry professionals and business development personnel, it can be used to view the connection paths between projects, investors, and key figures.

The investor and individual data used in the relationship map is based on RootData, and some information (such as whether a project has responded) is based on records from the TokenPost editorial team. To reduce erroneous connections between the same individuals, associations are only made when the X account is consistent or when two or more full names match.

The Token Watch relationship map does not require additional installation and can be used directly on the web, supporting both Korean and English interfaces.

A representative from TokenPost stated, "To understand cryptocurrency asset projects, it is not enough to look at prices and listing information; it is also essential to understand which funds and individuals are connected behind the projects. We will continue to optimize the relationship map to allow dispersed investment and individual information to be explored intuitively."

At the same time, Token Watch noted that the information displayed in the relationship map may differ from the actual latest status due to variations in the timing of collection and confirmation, and all data is for reference only and does not constitute investment advice.
