Cantor plans to assist Swiss crypto bank AMINA in seeking growth capital through a reverse merger
According to CoinDesk, Swiss crypto bank AMINA is collaborating with Wall Street firm Cantor to evaluate pathways to enter the capital markets. AMINA had considered a SPAC merger but is now more inclined to achieve a reverse merger through the acquisition of a Digital Asset Treasury company, although no final decision has been made.
A company spokesperson stated that the current priority is to bring in strategic growth capital, with an IPO as a subsequent option, and that there are currently no discussions with any SPACs or DATs. AMINA, formerly known as SEBA Bank, is regulated by Swiss FINMA and offers crypto trading, custody, staking, and lending services. Its operations have expanded to Abu Dhabi, Hong Kong, and India, with a Tier 1 capital of 74.6 million Swiss francs by the end of 2025 and total financing of approximately 245 million dollars.
