Hong Kong stock market midday review, Hang Seng Index closed up 1.37%, with automotive and tech stocks leading the gains

According to Gate market data, after two consecutive days of gains, Hong Kong stocks opened high again today, with the Hang Seng Index opening up 176 points at 25,487 points, and then fluctuating upwards, reaching a maximum increase of 426 points to a high of 25,737 points, with the gain slightly narrowing as it approached noon. By the close, the Hang Seng Index rose by 1.37%, the Tech Index rose by 2.2%, and the total market turnover expanded to HKD 173.04 billion.

Li Auto surged by 10%, Xiaomi Group rose by over 9%, while Hua Hong Semiconductor and SMIC both fell nearly 8%.
