Analyst: The monthly increase in Bitcoin supply for positions held for over 1 year is 217,000 coins, and long-term holders are still accumulating
CryptoQuant analyst Darkfost stated that since December of last year, the supply of Bitcoin held for over one year has continued to increase, with the recent monthly average reaching +217,000 coins, indicating that many holders who bought at higher prices are still holding on.
However, he pointed out that while this builds a solid foundation for the market, it also reflects the current weak demand—during the strong bullish rebound, the supply held for over one year has consistently been negative, as short-term holders rushed in during the bull market while long-term holders took profits. The analyst believes that Bitcoin is building the necessary foundation for a healthy bullish recovery, but this will take time, and rebuilding real demand is a long-term process. Patience is needed at present, but the overall trend is positive.
