Japanese listed company Eole purchased 1,078 HYPE and plans to increase its holdings to 611,100 USD

On July 28, the Tokyo-listed company Eole purchased 1,078.2547 HYPE for an amount of $66,000, with an average purchase price of $57.15. The company stated that this is the first time a publicly listed company in Japan has disclosed the purchase of HYPE.

Eole plans to increase its total investment in HYPE to $611,000 by making multiple purchases before the end of August, and will hold it as a strategic asset under the "Neo Crypto Bank" program, alongside Bitcoin. HYPE is the native token of the blockchain network Hyperliquid, which focuses on on-chain derivatives and trading. Eole indicated that holding HYPE is not solely for capital gains or fund management, but is aimed at strengthening its on-chain finance and Web3 business. The company may generate revenue by lending digital assets and utilizing traditional financial markets to hedge price risks, while exploring connections between its holdings and its own services.
