American Bitcoin's Bitcoin reserves in the second quarter exceeded 8,000 coins, setting a record for the highest quarterly production
American Bitcoin (NASDAQ: ABTC) announced its Q2 2026 financial report, showing that as of June 30, the company's Bitcoin reserves increased to approximately 8,002 coins, an increase of about 981 coins compared to the end of Q1, representing a quarterly growth of about 14%; the Bitcoin holdings per share grew by approximately 11%.
During the reporting period, the company mined approximately 932 BTC, achieving the highest quarterly production in history; mining revenue was about $67.02 million, a quarter-on-quarter increase of about 8%, with a gross margin maintained at around 50%. The cost of mining a single BTC was approximately $36,500, remaining basically flat compared to the previous quarter. American Bitcoin CEO Mike Ho stated that the company will continue to increase its Bitcoin reserves by expanding mining infrastructure and enhancing balance sheet strength. Co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer Eric Trump mentioned that the company currently holds over 8,000 BTC and operates one of the largest Bitcoin mining platforms globally, maintaining strong confidence in the long-term prospects of Bitcoin.
