Data: Binance whale inflow ratio hits a 4-month high, selling pressure intensifies

2026-08-05 16:38:00

CryptoQuant analyst Darkfost stated that the Binance Whale Inflow Ratio has risen to 0.52, reaching a four-month high. Currently, Bitcoin is still fluctuating within the range of $60,000 to $65,000, with whale activity significantly intensifying compared to retail and small traders, sending more BTC to Binance than other participants, increasing the selling pressure on Bitcoin.

Darkfost pointed out that historically, surges in this ratio have occurred at both market tops and bottoms, accompanied by panic and capitulation selling. Considering the current low volatility environment, once this phase passes, the indicator is likely to quickly return to normal. Attention should be paid to whether this trend continues.
