The Solana testnet is about to launch the adjustment for the first block time reduction
SolanaFloor stated that the first block time adjustment for Solana under the SIMD-0525 framework will go live on the testnet within two hours.
This adjustment lowers the target block time from 400 milliseconds to 350 milliseconds, marking the first step in a four-phase plan to achieve a target block time of 200 milliseconds.
