Trump Media's Bitcoin holdings in Q2 decreased to 9,477 coins, with a loss of 360 million dollars in crypto assets in the first half of the year
According to CoinDesk, Trump Media Group saw a significant decrease in the value of its digital assets in the second quarter due to the drop in cryptocurrency prices, recording a loss of $360.6 million in the first half of the year. According to the quarterly filing submitted on Monday, as of June 30, the company held 9,477.16 bitcoins, with a fair value of $557.1 million, down from 9,542.16 bitcoins at the end of March, resulting in a net decrease of 65 bitcoins in the second quarter.
The number of Cronos tokens held by the company remained unchanged at approximately 756.1 million, but the fair value dropped from $68 million at the end of 2025 to $40.6 million. Most of the company's bitcoins have been staked as collateral. As of June 30, 4,260.73 BTC were staked in convertible notes, and another 2,077.34 BTC were staked for bitcoin options strategies. Just a few days before the earnings report was released, Trump Media announced the termination of the proposed business merger with Crypto.com and Yorkville Acquisition on Friday.
