Data: The number of wallets holding at least 10,000 bitcoins has increased to 90, reaching a six-month high

The number of wallets holding at least 10,000 bitcoins has increased to 90, reaching a six-month high, indicating that large investors are accumulating again.

Since July 29, wallets holding between 10 and 10,000 bitcoins have cumulatively increased their holdings by approximately $1.5 billion worth of bitcoins; influenced by security concerns and regulatory delays, the number of smaller "micro" wallets continues to decrease. Analysts from the crypto market data platform Santiment indicate that the rotation of tokens from small holders to so-called "strong hands" historically tends to precede significant price fluctuations, and the likelihood of bitcoin breaking above $70,000 has increased.
