Analyst: The withdrawal volume of UNI by whales on Binance has reached a five-year high, and large investors are positioning themselves at a low

2026-08-16 23:29:54

CryptoQuant analyst Darkfost stated that although Uniswap's native token UNI has fallen over 93% from its 2021 peak of $43 to about $3, the accumulation by whales has reached its strongest level in five years.

Data shows that the top 10 transactions with the largest outflows of UNI on Binance have an average daily outflow of 7,300 UNI, setting a five-year high; the current average remains high, with this trading group accumulating 5,600 UNI daily.

Darkfost pointed out that despite the overall difficult environment for altcoins, some tokens are still attracting attention, especially those that are actively accumulated by whales. The accumulation intensity of UNI has reached a historical peak during the current downturn, indicating that large investors are positioning themselves at lower prices.
