New York Post: U.S. Congressman Tlaib, who opposes the CLARITY Act, is reported to hold $30,000 worth of BTC and ETH related ETFs

According to the New York Post, the latest financial disclosure from U.S. Democratic Representative Rashida Tlaib shows that her retirement investment account of approximately $1.2 million includes up to $15,000 in Grayscale Ethereum ETF and up to $15,000 in Bitcoin ETF. Both are ETF holdings and do not represent direct ownership of BTC or ETH.

The disclosure documents indicate that the account contains a total of 41 investments. Since U.S. lawmakers are only required to disclose assets by range of amounts, it is not possible to determine the exact scale of Tlaib's holdings in the aforementioned crypto ETFs. Tlaib previously voted against the CLARITY Act, which supports the crypto industry, and supported a resolution aimed at banning "crypto corruption." The CLARITY Act is expected to be reviewed by the Senate in September after Congress resumes.
