2026-08-24 20:07:53

On-chain detective ZachXBT stated that its investigation found a French cybercrime suspect using the identity M1llionz (RichMilly666) is suspected of laundering cryptocurrency assets obtained from two violent home invasion robberies, which occurred in France in April 2026, with a total amount involved of approximately $667,000.

In one case on April 17, about 7.2 BTC (worth approximately $557,000 at the time) was stolen, and in the other case on April 20, approximately $110,000 in cryptocurrency assets was stolen. ZachXBT reported that part of the funds was cross-chain transferred to Ethereum via Chainflip and flowed into multiple KuCoin deposit addresses; after reporting the fund movements to Tether and law enforcement, 93,000 USDT in the relevant addresses has been frozen.
