U.S. Department of Justice: Founder of San Francisco gaming industry convicted of defrauding nearly $1 million through false cryptocurrency trading fund

According to The Block, a federal jury in the United States found San Francisco resident Japheth Dillman guilty of wire fraud and conspiracy to commit wire fraud. The U.S. Department of Justice stated that Dillman made false statements regarding the cryptocurrency trading fund Block Bits Capital, which he co-founded, defrauding over 20 investors of nearly $1 million.

His sentencing hearing is scheduled for December 8.
