Ethereum Foundation: The Glamsterdam upgrade will include gas fee adjustments, and some contracts may need to be adapted

The Ethereum Foundation issued a reminder that the Glamsterdam upgrade will include adjustments to Gas fees (EIP-8037 and EIP-8038), involving changes to the costs of state creation and access. Most contracts will not be affected, but some contracts that rely on hard-coded Gas values and other old assumptions may need to be updated; otherwise, they may fail or experience performance degradation.
