Binance brings in two senior compliance executives from Crypto.com

2026-08-26 08:39:37

According to Bloomberg, Binance has brought in two senior compliance executives from Crypto.com: Antonio Alvarez will serve as the deputy to Chief Compliance Officer Noah Perlman; Duncan DeVille will take on the role of Global Head of Financial Crime Compliance. Both previously worked at Crypto.com and have compliance experience with organizations such as Coinbase, Visa, Western Union, and the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Binance stated that the addition of these two is a vote of confidence in its compliance program.

Over the past year, several senior employees in Binance's compliance department have left, with media reports suggesting that some departures were related to the exchange's handling of funds linked to Iran. Binance has denied these reports, stating that the compliance system is operating normally.
