Gate US COO Laura: The key to achieving broader applications for stablecoins lies in building infrastructure that meets traditional financial standards
According to the latest LinkedIn post from Gate US, stablecoins are expanding from cryptocurrency asset trading to payments, settlements, and cross-border capital flows. Their 24/7 fund transfer capability is expected to provide a more flexible infrastructure for cross-market capital movement. As the application scenarios for stablecoins continue to expand, liquidity, regulation, interoperability, and connectivity with existing financial networks are becoming important foundations for their further large-scale application.
Gate US COO Laura stated, "Whether stablecoins can achieve broader applications ultimately depends on whether their infrastructure can meet the standards of a wider financial system, including reliable liquidity, a clear regulatory framework, interoperability, and seamless integration with existing payment and settlement networks."
Gate US currently holds 36 state-level money transmission licenses (MTL), covering 47 jurisdictions in the United States, and is exploring the connection between stablecoins and everyday payment scenarios through services like Gate US Card. As stablecoins gradually integrate into payment, trading, and settlement systems, they are expected to become an important bridge connecting digital assets and traditional financial infrastructure.
